Get a berm!!!!!
So this happened.
30 cubic metres of soil later. (Not that we're counting.)
With a bit of luck, and frequent watering, it should start to resemble this sort of land sculpture in no time.

But, you know, on a suburban scale.
The other possibility is that we end up with the soil equivalent of a perm. We're still optimistic.

Cushioning the blow
Good news: The foam for our window seats squabs arrived today.
Bad news: I couldn't fit them in the car.
